Without proper raytracing (2001), reflections are hard!
One of the things I really like about “regular” / real painting is how you can often suggest a mood, or a texture, or feeling without having to put in too much detail. You can be abstract and “sketchy”. This was my first attempt at trying to achieve a kind of non-rendered / non-computery kind of feeling. Going for soft curves rather than jaggies or boxes.
Made in blender. Again, very basic / blocky. I’d just seen bladerunner for the first time, I think, and was interested to see how easy / hard it was to make more atmospheric cities in blender. Looks pretty naff now, though…
Worms
Made in blender. This was before “Worms3D” was even in Beta. They’d done the cool animations at the beginning of Worms2, and I really liked them.
